Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo in the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay, the producer and director of drama of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Her father, Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories include going to rehearsals for plays as well as watching her mother do the perform. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials when she was a young child. She completed her studies at St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she was introduced to in Los Angeles at an Actors training. The couple was wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. When she converted to Judaism, they were married again in the Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May the 13th of May, 2016. Silk is well-known for her tv role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she received nominations from the Gemini Awards. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk was pregnant during production of the season three finale. She announced the news to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season and on the 20th of June 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was ready to work on the show. Her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical in the show Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite Television Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top Television Couple in 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is a popular show on social media.
