Erica Cerra, born October 31st, 1979 in Vancouver British Columbia is an Canadian actress best known for portraying her role as Deputy Jo Lupo in the Syfy Series Eureka. Cerra is from Italian descent and was born in Vancouver in British Columbia. Since the age of 8 Cerra has been fascinated by her love in acting. Cerra was a regular in numerous commercials when she was a little girl. After a period of time, she took a hiatus from the stage. In 2001, at age 22, she returned. Cerra was ranked among the five most popular actresses in Vancouver according to Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine in 2005. Cerra played a role in Eureka the show, which was the Syfy show that aired from 2006 to 2012. The show featured her as Jo Lupo, a deputy Jo Lupo. Cerra also appeared in the music video from 2006 for the Michael Buble hit song Save the Last Dance for Me. Cerra has been featured in several television shows that are popular, including Battlestar Galactica, The L Word and numerous others. Her film credits include Blade:Trinity, starring Wesley Snipes and Ben Affleck in the lead role, as well as Man About Town. Cerras head and body served as a template for Ashley Williams' character in Mass Effect. Cerra also appeared as a guest star in Smallville The 4400 The Dead Zone Reaper Huff as well as Dead Like Me. Khondabi noted that she had been married Joey Scribner Howard, her best friend from high school who works as a mechanical engineer within the energy utilities sector. Khondabi wrote that she along with Joey were the best of friends during their time at Greenwood Christian School for years prior to dating during their senior year in high school. Howard relocated to Irmo following his graduation of Dutch Fork High School, but Khondabi was his best acquaintance. Khondabi is a graduate in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Carolina and is also a 2007 Emerald High School Graduate. She has studied sports management as well as entertainment. Joey has graduated from USC as well. Liam is their dog. Khondabi stated that she and Joey are foodies and one of her favorite foods from home is onion rings from Dixie Drive-In. Dixie Drive-In. Khondabi posted, "I'm intrigued. While in elementary, I used to do educational interviews for our news show at school. In addition, I'd anchor the headlines for each day. Oakland Elementary's news show was titled WOAK. Khondabi said that her first work as a television reporter after graduation from college. It was with WAGT, situated in Augusta Georgia. I worked in the news for about six years, she wrote. I worked as a morning anchor in Charleston, West Virginia for WOWK. Then moved to Columbus Ohio and became the morning and traffic anchor for the local ABC/FOX affiliate.
